2019 - Senior Season - Became the cornerstone of the squad’s defensive unit and rewarded the program with an award-winning senior campaign … Secured first-team All-Conference and All-State honors while earning a spot on the second-team All-Region squad … Ranked third in the CAC with four defensive saves … Made history during the season, becoming the first Captain to register a defensive save against three different top-10 opponents … Came through with stops in one-goal games against No. 9 Rochester on September 1, No. 5 Johns Hopkins on September 8, and No. 3 Salisbury on October 19 … Also contributed a defensive save during an overtime thriller against Centre on September 15 … Helped anchor the team’s penalty corner defense, which successfully stopped 93 percent of the opposition’s attempts during the year … Ranked third on the Captains with 1,026 minutes of action and played at least 50 in 13 of her outings … Never left the field during back-to-back overtime thrillers against nationally-ranked foes Vassar and Salisbury in October … Blistered a pair of goals during the marathon against No. 5 Vassar, including the overtime clincher on October 14 … Became just the second Captain to score twice against a top-five opponent … Also added a dart against No. 5 Johns Hopkins earlier in the season … Scored twice in a win at Bridgewater on September 25 and snapped off one goal in triumphs over DePauw on September 6 and Rhodes on September 28 … Served as the chief inserter on penalty corners and assisted on tallies against Virginia Wesleyan on October 1 and Mary Washington on October 11 … Finished the year with 16 points, including seven goals … Was the first player in the conference to have at least four goals and four defensive saves in a single campaign since 2017 … Her .333 shooting percentage during the year also marked the second-highest among players with at least five goals in the CAC … Wrapped up the season with 21 shots, including 14 on cage.

2018 - Junior Season - Stepped into a starting role and put together a tremendous effort during her third year with the program … Appeared in all 19 contests and started the final 15 games of the season … Made significant contributions on both ends of the field … Saw action on a defensive unit that ranked 15th in the NCAA with a 0.93 goals-against-average … Played a role in each of the team’s nine shutouts during the year … Stayed on the field for all 70 minutes during three of those blankings, including back-to-back showcases against St. Mary’s (Md.) on October 17 and Frostburg State on October 20 … Also helped out on the offensive end with 12 points … Scored a pair of goals against Concordia-Wisconsin on September 29 … Drove home the game-winner at Catholic on October 21 and also found the back of the cage against No. 7 Salisbury during the CAC Championship on November 3 … Also contributed four assists during the year, including a pair against Randolph-Macon on September 19 … Added helpers at Washington & Lee on September 22 and against St. Mary’s (Md.) on October 17 … Served as an inserter on penalty corners as well … Played that role on 61 attempts during the year, including 10 against Frostburg State during the first round of the CAC Tournament on October 28 … Helped convert six of those penalty corners into goals during the season … Finished the year with 1,090 minutes of action and played at least 70 in 11 of her appearances, including the final two games of the conference playoffs.

2017 - Sophomore Season - Remained one of the team’s top reserves during her second season at CNU … Appeared in 17 contests and cracked the starting lineup at Bridgewater on September 16 … Scored a goal against DePauw on September 3 … Helped out on the offensive penalty corner unit throughout the season, serving as the inserter on 23 attempts … Saw at least 20 minutes of action in seven of her appearances, including a season-high 34 minutes against Frostburg State on October 15 … Appeared in all three postseason games while helping the Captains claim the program’s first Capital Athletic Conference Championship …  Wrapped up the season with 10 minutes of action against No. 8 Kean during the NCAA Tournament … Roped 11 shots during the season and put six on goal.

2016 - Freshman Season - Immediately contributed during her first year with the Captains ... Appeared in 17 games and made five starts ... Registered eight points and finished third on the team with four assists ... Cracked the starting lineup in five straight contests from October 6-16 and rewarded the Captains with seven points during that stretch ... Drove home her first two collegiate goals against St. Mary's (Md.) on October 12 ... Added assists in victories over Roanoke on October 9, Wesley on October 14, and Rhodes on October 16 ... Also posted her first point of the year with a helper on the opening goal of a 2-1 triumph over Washington & Lee on October 12 ... Saw 543 minutes of action during the season and eclipsed 40 in eight of her appearances, including a season-high 67 against Roanoke ... Finished the year with 16 shots and put 14 of those on goal.

At Gloucester - Excelled as a midfielder with the Dukes … Collected second-team All-Conference accolades for her efforts as a senior … Led Gloucester to the school’s first-ever girls’ team state championship in 2015 … Also helped guide the Dukes to four conference titles and two regional crowns during her time on the field ... Excelled in the classroom as well and was a three-time National Academic Team selection

Madison Bailey Miller is the daughter of Brad and Jenn Miller … She has three younger sisters, Ainsley, Reese, and Ellary, and two younger brothers, Carter and Clay … Her mom is the most impressive person she has ever met ... Her dream vacation would be a trip to Greece ... "Parks and Rec" is her favorite TV show ... Aspires to be a nurse practitioner in pediatrics ... Majoring in cellular and molecular biology.
