2010 – Junior Season – Earned Chesapeake Region All-Regional first team honors…Named to the USA South All-Tournament Team…Earned first team All-Conference honors…Started all 19 games for the Captains…Scored 59 goals ranking second on the team with a goal coming in each game…Had team-high and program season record 46 assists putting her second in career assists…Earned a program record 105 points also placing her second on the all-time list…Had game-winning goals against Greensboro and Guilford…Scored two goals and had an assist in overtime win over St. Mary’s…scored three goals and had an assist in 12-11 victory over Greensboro…Picked up 26 ground balls…Had five caused turnovers…

2009 - Sophomore Season - Led the Captains in scoring and was a first team all-USA South choice and all-tournament team member...Poured in seven goals against Sewanee and four each versus Greensboro, Virginia Wesleyan and Mary Washington...Also had six in a game with Methodist and three against Randolph-Macon, Shenandoah and Birmingham Southern...Had four ground balls in the Methodist game...

2008 - Freshman Season - Named USA South Rookie of the Year as well as first team all-conference and was a member of the conference all-tournament team...Led CNU with 42 goals, including five against Randolph-Macon and four each versus Ferrum, Mary Washington, Lynchburg and Greensboro...Had the game-winning goals in contests with Methodist and Lynchburg...Also had three assists each against Medaille, Methodist and Ferrum...Coralled five ground balls versus Catholic...

AT LOUDOUN VALLEY - Named first team all-region for three straight years...Washington Post Extra Player of the Year as a senior and on the all-extra team the previous two years...Honorable mention all-met in her final season, when she was also district Player of the Year...Coach Jay Harkey’s team captain...Team’s leading scorer for three years...A member of the National Honor Society and Student Council officer...

PERSONAL - Meghan Andrea Harkey was born April 7, 1989 in Annapolis, Md...She is the daughter of Jay and Kathy Harkey and is majoring in Communications...Has a brother JD, 22 and two sisters, Jessie, 20 and Shannon, 18...Her father played lacrosse at the University of Maryland.
