Biography

2020 - Senior Season - Took part in the spring exhibition season during her final year at Christopher Newport ... Did not compete in the fall following a decision by the NCAA and Capital Athletic Conference to suspend athletic competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic ... Became only the fourth player in program history to earn NFHCA National All-Academic honors during each of her four seasons with the Captains.

2019 - Junior Season - Continued serving as an important member of the squad’s attack during her third year in Newport News … Took part in 18 games and earned 11 starts … Cracked the starting lineup during the first 10 games of the year before returning for the team’s conference win against Mary Washington on October 11 … Deposited the game-winning goal with her first strike of the season at Concordia (Wisc.) on September 13 … Came back with another goal during a nationally-ranked victory at No. 5 Vassar on October 14 … Also contributed an assist in a league triumph at York (Pa.) on October 26 … Took 19 shots during the year and put 14 on cage … Eclipsed 30 minutes of work in four of the squad’s nationally-ranked battles, including victories against No. 9 Rochester on September 1 and No. 5 Johns Hopkins on September 8 … Eventually topped 30 minutes in eight of her outings during the season … Made appearances in both games during the CAC Tournament, including the win over St. Mary’s (Md.) during the league semifinals on November 6.

2018 - Sophomore Season - Remained a vital contributor on the team’s attack during her second year with the Captains … Tied for the league-lead with seven assists while finishing sixth in points (19) and eighth in goals (6) … Also led the conference with a .429 shooting percentage after scoring on six of her 14 shots during the year … Became the first player in 15 years to lead the CAC in both assists and shooting percentage … Served as the team’s primary inserter on penalty corners and helped CNU score 15 goals during those situations, including at least once in 10 of her appearances … Came through with three assists at Virginia Wesleyan on September 9 and against Concordia-Wisconsin on September 19 … First player in program history to notch at least three assists twice in a single season … Tallied a goal in three straight appearances from October 24-31, including one in the first two games of the CAC Tournament … Also found the back of the cage against Bridgewater on August 31, Washington & Lee on September 22, and Frostburg State on October 20 … Appeared in all 19 games and started 14 contests, including all three in the conference playoffs … Saw 954 minutes of action during the season and eclipsed 50 in 10 of her appearances … Tied for the team-lead with an impressive .857 shot-on-goal percentage after putting 12 of her 14 total attempts on cage.

2017 - Freshman Season - Made a substantial impact during her first collegiate campaign … Only freshman to start all 19 games during the year … Ranked second on the team with eight goals and third with 20 points … Pieced together a brilliant postseason performance after recording at least one point in all three playoff games … Posted an assist on the game-winning goal against Mary Washington during the CAC semifinals on November 1 … Came back with a strike during the CAC Championship against No. 6 Salisbury on November 4, leading the Captains to the program’s first conference title … Wrapped up the year with the squad’s lone goal against No. 8 Kean during the NCAA Tournament on November 11 … Posted a pair of tallies against Washington & Lee on September 23 … Registered her first career goal and assist in her collegiate debut against Virginia Wesleyan in the season opener on September 1 … Added another three-point outing against Rhodes on September 17 … Credited with the game-winning goal at St. Mary’s (Md.) on October 19 and assisted on the clincher against No. 3 Salisbury on September 30 … Played a key role on the team’s offensive penalty corner unit, serving as the inserter on a team-high 77 attempts during the season … Saw 943 minutes of action during the year and eclipsed 60 minutes in six of her appearances, including both games during the conference tournament.

At Langley - Excelled as a midfielder for four seasons with the Saxons … Picked up second-team All-State honors for her efforts as a senior … Also brought home honorable mention All-Met accolades in 2016 … Was a perennial first-team All-District and All-Region selection for her work on the field … Named the Team MVP in 2015 and was a Scholar-Athlete honoree as well … Also secured All-Regional and All-District Tournament honors during each of her final two campaigns.
