Biography

2009- Junior- Split time at No. 4,5 and 6 singles with a combined record of 9-12 including 4-1 at No. 4... Was 2-7 in doubles with three different teammates... Included on the USA South All-Academic Team.

2008-Sophomore Season- Won twice at No. 5 singles and once at both 3 and 4... Also won both of his doubles matches, partnering with Richy Connor and Chris Scott at No. 3... A member of the USA South All-Academic Team.

2007-Freshman Season- Took over at No. 4 singles in his first year at CNU and posted a 7-12 record. He was also 2-0 in two matches at No. 3 for a 9-12 season mark... He and David Weiner were 13-6 in doubles with a 10-6 mark at No. 3 and 3-0 at No. 2... A member of the USA South All-Academic Team and a Dean's List student in the Spring semester.

At Almont- Lettered all four years for head coach Dean Sousanis... Honorable mention all area as a freshman... Twice named all-area as a sophomore and junior... Named League MVP as a senior... first team all-BWAC as a senior... Named Detroit Free-Press Scholar Athlete of the Year... Also played soccer.

Personal- Dylan Augustus Young was born on April 2, 1988 in Williamsport, PA... He is the son of Paul Young and Sharon Kemp... Majoring in Marketing... Chose CNU because of its tennis, location, campus and his major... Enjoys tennis, friends, and music... Hopes to one day work for a marketing firm dealing with entertainment and sports.
