2012 - Freshman Season - Served as the team’s reserve setter during her first year in Newport News … Saw action in 24 matches and 39 sets during the season … Ranked second on the team with 200 assists and led the way with a .435 set percentage … Made her collegiate debut and recorded an assist and dig during the season opener against Bridgewater on August 31 … Saw her first extensive action of the year against No. 9 Juniata on September 8, dishing out 17 assists to go along with a block and kill during just two sets against the Eagles … Honored as the USA South Rookie of the Week on September 24 following an excellent three-match roll ... Led the Captains with 49 assists during her award-winning week while also chipping in with 10 digs and five aces ...
