At Hickory - Three-year letterwinner, helping lead the Hawks to a pair of Regional Championships (2010 & 2011)...Regional runner-up in 2011 and three-time state quarterfinalist...Also reached the state semifinals as a junior...Second Team All-District as a junior...As a senior, pitched 173 innings with two no-hitters and ten shutouts, compiling a 21-5 record and an ERA of 0.71...First Team All-District, All-Region and All-State, as well as the District and Region Pitcher of the Year...Named Virginian-Pilot Player of the Year and Norfolk Sports Club's 2012 Scholastic Metro Player of the Year...Team MVP and member of the National Honor Society.
