2012 – Freshman Season – Became the first player in USA South history to earn the league’s Rookie and Player of the Year awards in the same season…Also garnered first-team All-State and second-team All-Region accolades…Ranked second in the league with 64 hits and nine home runs and among the top-five in batting average (.405), on-base percentage (.467), and slugging percentage (.652)…Ranked ninth nationally with 56 RBI…Led the team with 23 multi-hit efforts, including three straight from March 27-29…Posted a season-best seven-game hitting streak from April 6-15, highlighted by a 3-for-3 effort at Meredith on April 7…Collected a season-high five RBI against Baruch on March 10 and unloaded a pair of home runs against Ferrum on March 18…Also earned All-Tournament honors for her performance during the USA South Championship, coming through with six hits, six RBI, and four runs scored during the postseason run.
