2007 - Junior Season - Second team all-USA South in the midfield...Scored 15 goals, including three against Methodist...Also had two assists versus Ferrum...Her goal in the Averett game was the game-winner...Led the team with 45 ground balls, including six against Shenandoah and five versus Salisbury...Also caused a pair of turnovers each in two different games against Shenandoah.
2006 - Sophomore Season - Started all 19 games and had seven goals and three assists... She scored a personal-best four goals against N.C. Wesleyan and was an honorable mention all-conference selection...A member of the USA South all-academic team.
2005 - Freshman Season -Played in 11 games and had a goal against Ferrum and an assist against Bridgewater.
AT ORCHARD PARK - Played lacrosse throughout high school for coach Bridget Callahann...She was the team captain as a sophomore and senior and was the team MVP her senior year...Thomson was an honorable mention all Western New York selection, first team Erie County Division I selection and was on the ECIC all-star team as a senior...She also played soccer her sophomore and junior years...She was an honor roll student and was in the Varsity and Pep clubs.
PERSONAL - Lisa Shields Thomson was born Aug. 27, 1985 in Orchard Park, N.Y...Her major is Biology and she is the daughter of George and Deanne Thomson...She has a sister, Krista, 26 and a brother, David, 20.
