Biography

2013-14 - Sophomore - Started all 28 games in his second year in Newport News...Captains' top three-point shooter, averaging nearly 41% from beyond the arc while knocking down a team-high 61 treys...Also the team's third-leading rebounder, with 5.0 boards per game, and third-leading scorer, with 8.7 points per contest...Poured in a season-high 20 points on a 6-for-11 performance from three-point range versus Frostburg State (1/4), narrowly missing a double-double with a season-high nine rebounds...Hit at least one three-pointer in 22 of 28 appearances and knocked down multiple long-range attempts in 18 of them...Shot 42% for the season from the field, scoring 244 points on 87-of-207 attempts...Played a career-high 42 minutes in an overtime loss at Penn State Harrisburg, scoring 18 points with seven rebounds.

2012-13 - Freshman - Saw action in 27 games and made a pair of starts during his first campaign with the Captains...Excelled during the USA South Playoffs while helping lead the Captains to the tournament championship...Scored 13 points and added a season-high nine rebounds in the first round against Averett on February 16 before chipping in with a career-high 21 points against Greensboro in the title bout two days later...Earned a spot on the All-Tournament team for that effort...Also competed in both games during the NCAA Tournament, including a 12-point performance against Rutgers-Newark in the first round on March 2...Had his first career double-digit scoring effort with 13 points on 4-of-7 shooting against Averett on January 23...Made his career debut and collected three rebounds in the opener against Randolph-Macon...Scored the first five points of his career and added two assists during 30 minutes of work against Wesley on January 24...Also had five points the next day during the championship game of the CNU Invitational...Earned his first career start against Eastern Mennonite on December 17 before cracking the lineup again on February 9 against LaGrange. 

At Cape Henry - Competed as a wing for the Dolphins throughout his high school career...Helped lead the squad to the state championship game as a junior and the state semifinals as a senior...Named the 2011 Steward Invitational Most Valuable Player...Also selected to the 2011 St. Albans All-Tournament Team...Drained 116 three-pointers as a senior.
