Biography

2015-16 - Junior - Suffered second season-ending knee injury of her career during the preseason, but remained active member of the program throughout the season...Active leader on campus, including with her sorority Alpha Phi.

2014-15 - Sophomore - Did not see any action due to an injury...Earned CAC All-Academic honors for the second straight year.

2013-14 - Freshman - Saw action in 23 games during her first year with the Captains...Posted two double-figure scoring games, with season-high 17 point performance vs. Penn State Harrisburg (2/15) on 6-12 shooting, 5-10 from beyond the arc...Also scored 14 points vs. Shenandoah (11/16) in her second career game, shooting 5-6 from the field...Member of the CAC All-Academic Team.

AT GEORGETOWN VISITATION - Played all four years for the Cubs as a guard under Mike McCarthy...League Champions all four years...Named to the All-Tournament team after hitting the most three's in a game at the 2012 Chantilly Pohanka Classic...Also an All-Tournament selection at the 2013 Bishop Walsh Invitational...One of the top three 3-point shooters in the DMV/Metropolitan area (2012-13)...Earned All-Metropolitan honorable mention and All-League AA First Team as a senior.

PERSONAL - Taylor Christiana Delgado was born in Reston, Va...Daughter of Ed and Patricia Delgado...Father kicked for Georgetown University before also playing in the NFL for the Redskins and Raiders...Has one brother, Nick, who is a freshman kicker on the football team at James Madison University, and one sister, Tiffany...Graduated high school with honors in Chemistry and Latin, and published a creative writing piece...Coached youth basketball and volunteered for the Special Olympics, S.O.M.E, and attended Catholic youth group work camp...The most impressive person ever met is her father and her favorite book is George Orwell's 1984...Majoring in English and is Pre-Med.
