2012 – FRESHMAN SEASON - Appeared in 14 matches and 18 sets during her first campaign in Newport News … Mad her collegiate debut in the season opener against Bridgewater on August 31 before posting her first two blocks the following afternoon against Texas-Tyler … Had her finest performance of the year against Ferrum on September 22, unloading eight kills while hitting at a .583 clip … Came back with five more kills and a pair of blocks during the nightcap of that USA South Tri-Match against Meredith … Unloaded a season-high two aces and chipped in with two kills and a pair of blocks during a three-set sweep against Greensboro on September 29 … Blasted five kills on just 12 swings against LaGrange on October 6 … Added five more kills and two digs during her final appearance of the year against Mary Baldwin on October 17 … Finished the season with 31 kills and a .297 hitting percentage … Also collected eight blocks and three aces.

AT ROBINSON SECONDARY SCHOOL – Excelled for two years as a middle blocker for the Rams … Helped guide the team to the 2010 Concorde District Championship as a junior … Named to the All-District Tournament team for her performance during the squad’s postseason run … Selected to the first-team All-District squad for her efforts as a senior … Also honored with a place on the 2011 honorable mention All-Region team … Received second-team All-District nods as a junior … Competed for the swim team during her first two years, helping lead the squad to the District, Regional, and State Championship in each of her two seasons … Earned a spot on the honor roll for her performance in the classroom.
