Biography

2012 – Junior Season – Picked up second-team All-USA South accolades for the second time in her career … Ranked eighth in the conference with 35 ground balls … Scooped up at least three ground balls on six occasions, including a season-best eight against Virginia Wesleyan on March 7 … Notched three in back-to-back games against Shenandoah and Ferrum on April 7 and 13 … Recorded at least one ground ball in 16 of the team’s 19 contests … Forced 14 turnovers during the year, including three against N.C. Wesleyan on March 3 and Shenandoah on April 14 … Secured four draw controls against Ferrum on March 17 before eclipsing that feat with five in her very next game against Lynchburg on March 21 … Scored her first goal of the season against Agnes Scott on March 14 before capping off her offensive exploits with goals against Methodist on March 24 and LaGrange on March 30 … Caused four turnovers and picked up a pair of ground balls during the league playoffs, earning a place on the All-Tournament team for those efforts … Selected to the VaSID Academic All-State team and IWLCA Academic Honor Roll for her efforts in the classroom as well.

2011 - Sophomore Season - Named to the USA South All Tournament team after scooping up seven ground balls, earning two draw controls and causing a turnover in the tournament...Started in 15 of the 17 games she played...Had 25 ground balls, 12 draw controls and nine caused turnovers on the year...Also added a goal and an assist...

2010 – Freshman Season – Started all 19 games for the Captains…Had a goal against Ferrum and an assist against Greensboro…Picked up 23 ground balls…Had 10 caused turnovers including one at #17 Catholic University in NCAA play…

AT ARCHBISHOP SPALDING - Played four years under four different coaches...Her teams defeated two Florida state champions and one Maryland state champion...A member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society, and won multiple academic awards including the Maryland Distinguished Scholars, Denise Alvarez Scholarship...Also won the Faculty Award and Science Award...A member of the class counsel and played soccer as well.
