2011 – FRESHMAN SEASON - Appeared in 17 matches and 29 sets during her first campaign…Finished the year with 26 kills, 14 digs, six blocks, and five aces…Made her collegiate debut against Hollins on Sept. 1…Launched her first career kill and tallied a season-high three blocks, including back-to-back stuffs late in the third set, against Bluffton on Sept. 3…Fired three kills in consecutive matches against Greensboro on Sept. 23 and Ferrum on Sept. 24…Chipped in with a season-high five digs against the Panthers as well…Added another three-kill effort on just five swings at Greensboro on Oct. 1…Had her finest serving performance of the year in the nightcap of a twin bill against Mary Baldwin on Oct. 11 when she unleashed three aces against the Fighting Squirrels…Set a season-high with six kills in her very next appearance after unloading on Meredith on Oct. 23…Also added four digs and an ace against the Avenging Angels…Posted a pristine 1.000 hitting percentage against Ferrum on Oct. 29 after connecting on all four of her attack attempts, including back-to-back winners in the middle of the first set.

AT HICKORY - Played four years of volleyball for coaches Eric Cigich and Mickey Wheeler…District Tournament Champions her senior year…A second team all-district selection her sophomore year and a first team selection her junior and senior years…First team all-region and All-Tidwater and honorable mention all-state her senior year…Chesapeake Scholar Athlete her junior and senior years...An Honors graduate and member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL - Katelyn Michelle Jarrett was born on May 4, 1993 in Chesapeake, Va…She is the daughter of Jim and Karen Jarrett and has a brother, Trey (23)…A biology major at CNU…A trip to Greece would be her dream vacation.
