2006 - Freshman Year - Became a starter in her first year with CNU...Contributed 196 digs, with a high of 12 against Muskingum on opening day...Also added ten each versus Gettysburg and Methodist...Also one of the team's top servers with 56 aces, ranking third on the club...She had six in a match with Greensboro and five each against Ferrum and

Hanover.

AT WAYNESBORO - Earned Second Team all-state honors as a senior playing for coach Candice Kimmett...Also first team all-region and first team All-Valley District...Played in

the Virginia High School Coaches Association All-Star Game, that was played in the Freeman Center...She was the team captain as a senior as well as in softball where she was also an all-district performer...A member of the National Art Honor Society, on the Principal's Honor Roll and attended the Art Governor's School. In addition, she was a member of the YoungLife Club, and Key Club.

PERSONAL - Sarah Elizabeth Coffey was born Dec. 10, 1987 in Waynesboro, Va...She's  majoring in Art  Education and is the daughter of Dale and Tammy Coffey...Has a brother Josh, 23, who played baseball at Concord University...Enjoys going to the beach, shopping and camping with her friends.
