2009 - FRESHMAN SEASON - Played in every game during CNU’s run to the NCAA Elite 8 and started twice, against Methodist and Shenandoah...Had a goal and an assist in the Shenandoah game, and the goal was the game-winner

AT PALM HARBOR - An all-Pinellas County selection, playing for coach Alex Delgado...He is team won Class 5A state championships in 2006 and 2009 and was runner-up in 2007...Played in the Pinellas County all-star game twice, scoring the winning goal once and was game MVP...Captain of his team for two years...A member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL - Samuel A. Venker was born Aug. 1, 1991 in St. Louis, Mo...He is a Business major and the son of Pat and Cindy Venker...His father was a golfer at the University of Florida and his brother Max, 21, plays soccer at Johns Hopkins.
