Cross Country - Posted a top-20 finish at the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Championships after placing 19th in the 6k with a personal-best time of 23:17.6 ... Wrapped up the year with a mark of 27:38.9 at the NCAA South Regionals, which placed her 90th overall ... Also competed in the 6k at the Rowan Border Battle, Paul Short Run, and NCAA Regional Preview ... Kicked off the year with a 4k clocking of 16:08.8 at the Spider Alumni Open.
Track & Field - Registered a pair of top-five efforts at the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Championships ... Placed fourth in the league in the indoor 5000 with a time of 19:18.76 ... Came back with an identical fourth-place showing in the outdoor 10,000 after completing the race in 41:21.32 ... Established a PR in the 10,000 at the Colonial Relays with a mark of 41:16.52 ... Won the 3000 at the CNU Qualifier after finishing in 11:10.25 ... Set a new personal-best in the mile at the Richard Drake Invitational with a 5:46.96 clocking ... Finished third in the 5000 at the Vince Brown Invitational after placing fourth in the event at the VMI Invitational ... Wrapped up the year with eight top-10 finishes, including five top-five marks.

2021-22 - Senior Season:
Cross Country - Came in 22nd in the 6k at the Coast-to-Coast Conference Championships after setting a new PR in 23:58.0 … Wrapped up the year with a 25:21.1 mark at the NCAA South Regionals, which placed her 62nd overall … Added her top finish of the season with a 15th-place effort at the CNU Invitational in September … Also took part in the 6k at the Paul Short Run and Inter-Regional Border Battle … Set a two-mile personal-best at the Spider Alumni Open with a 13:06.4 clocking.
Track & Field - Placed ninth in the 5000 at the Coast-to-Coast Conference Indoor Championships with a time of 20:25.48 … Set three outdoor PRs during the year, including a second-place showing in the 10,000 at the Blue & Silver Challenge after crossing in 41:43.39 … Also added a 5:28.36 mark in the 1500 during the New Captains Classic and a 19:55.26 standard in the 5000 at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier … Completed the 3000 in a season-best time of 11:42.16 at the CNU Qualifier … Had seven top-10 finishes during the year, including a third-place showing in the 5000 at the Vince Brown Invitational.
 
2020-21 - Junior Season:
Cross Country - Did not compete in the fall following a decision by the NCAA and Capital Athletic Conference to suspend athletic competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Track & Field - Placed eighth in the league in the 10,000 after crossing the line in 43:37.48 during the Coast-to-Coast Conference Outdoor Championships … Set a new PR in the 5000 at the New Captains Classic with a 20:29.61 clocking … Posted her fastest time in the 1500 at the UMW Opener after finishing in 5:40.84 … Registered three top-10 finishes during the spring, including a seventh-place effort in the 10,000 during the Blue & Silver Challenge.

2019-20 - Sophomore Season:
Cross Country - Did not see action during the fall campaign.
Track & Field - Finished third in the 5000 at the CNU Qualifier after completing the race in 22:04.24 … Also added season-best clockings in the mile (6:43.23) at the CNU Holiday Open and the 3000 (12:21.62) at the Vince Brown Invitational … Finished 13th in the 3000 at the Captains Invitational as well while completing the race in 12:42.23.

2018-19 - Freshman Season:
Cross Country - Kicked off her collegiate career with an appearance at the Mary Washington Opener … Competed in the 4k and completed the race in 17:32.2.
Track & Field - Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor seasons with the Captains.

At Saint John Paul the Great - Earned 12 varsity letters as a standout in cross country and track & field with the Wolves … Served as a team captain in both sports … Claimed the 3200 championship at the 2018 Catholic State Meet and was the runner-up in both the indoor and outdoor 4x800-relay … Established school records in the 3200 and 4x800-relay.
 
Personal - Claire Elyse Garster is the daughter of Jim and Julie Garster … Has an older brother, Kevin, and a younger sister, Mary Kate … Her father competed in cross country and track at Rhode Island from 1985-89.
