Spring 2021 - Saw action in one of two games during CNU's spring mini season...named to the New Jersey Athletic Conference's All-Academic team for his great work in the classroom.

2019 - Sophomore - Continued his development on the Captains offensive line, seeing time in seven games...suited up for all five home games as well as road contests at Salisbury and Wesley.

2018 - Freshman - Appeared in one game as a reserve offensive lineman during his first year in Newport News … Saw action during the squad’s season-opening victory against CAC rival Southern Virginia.

At James River - Excelled as an offensive lineman with the Rapids … Was a two-time All-Conference selection for his efforts … Also picked up All-Region and All-Metro nods for his work as a senior … Served as a team captain during his final two years … Picked up All-Academic plaudits and was a member of the Leadership Council … Competed as a thrower on the track & field team as well.

Personal - Max Philip Wilson is the son of Daniel and Margaret Wilson … Has an older brother, Bo … His father played football at VMI … His favorite athlete is David Ortiz, and Hank Aaron is the most impressive person he’s ever met … “The Other Guys” is his favorite movie, and “Bob’s Burgers” is his favorite TV show … His goal in life is to be the best man he can be … Majoring in business.
