2008 - JUNIOR
Named Player of the Year in the USA South after an outstanding year helping CNU to the regular season championship...Led the team with 14 goals, including two each against Marymount, Ferrum and Averett twice...Netted six game-winning goals, in contests with Marymount, Peace, Methodist, Mary baldwin and twice against Averett...A member of the all-academic team in the USA South.
2007 - SOPHOMORE
Helped anchor the Captains defense that allowed just 16 goals in 21 games ... Played in all 21 games while starting 19 times ... Third on the team in goals with seven and points with 21 ... Scored two goals each against Shenandoah and Ferrrum ... First Team All-USA South pick and was also named to the All-Tournament squad ... Was also Third Team All-Region selection and was also named First Team All-State.
2006 - FRESHMAN
Chesbro started in 18 of the 19 games she saw in action during
her first season and earned second team all-USA South honors ... Helped anchor a defense that propelled the Captains to the NCAA Tournament.

Third team all-region for head coach Sean Burke ... Won two district championships in 2003 and 2004 ... Also won a regional and state championship in 2004 ... Was a second team all-district choice in 2006 ... A member of DECA and Key Club.

Emily Catherine Chesbro was born on August 26, 1988 in Fairfax, VA ... Daughter of John and Lori Chesbro ... One sister, Whitney, 26 ... Plans on majoring in Psychology ... Chose CNU because of its academic and soccer programs.
