2009 - Freshman Season - Stepped into a starting outfield job
in her first season at CNU and had a fine year...Had three hits
each against Hampton, Virginia Wesleyan, Randolph-Macon and
Lynchburg and two hits in five other games...Homered in a game
with Lynchburg.

AT PARK VIEW - A second team all-state choice in her senior
year...She was first team all-region her final year and second team
the two previous seasons...Also first team all-Dulles District for
three years playing for coach Ed Abner...Also second team all-Met
in the Washington, D.C., area as a senior and honorable mention in
her junior year...A member of the National Honor Society and Honor
Roll...She was in the Spanish Club and Key Club.

PERSONAL - Emily Alyse Garcia was born Sept. 4, 1990 in
Leesburg, Va...She is majoring in Psychology and is the daughter
of Mike and Tammi Garcia...Has a sister Paige, 15.
