LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Christopher Newport women's basketball team, ranked No. 14 in the final regular season coaches' poll, will take on Gettysburg College (21-6) in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship on Friday, March 6 at 5:30 p.m. The game will be played at Holekamp Gym on a neutral floor at Washington and Lee University as part of First Round action in the postseason tournament.

Christopher Newport owns a 4-0 lead in the all-time series against Gettysburg College including one win in the NCAA Tournament. CNU downed the Bullets, 82-78, in the 2019 first round on the road.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors/students/children. Children under three will be admitted for free. For fans unable to attend in person, live stats and a live video webcast will be available online. Links to both can be found on the women's basketball schedule at CNUsports.com.
