The vision of Play4Kay came directly from Coach Kay Yow. Through Play4Kay, the national grassroots movement in sports, Yow found away to bring communities together and honor cancer warriors, survivors, and thrivers in the fight against cancer. Uniting players, coaches, officials, and fans to do something for the greater good that far exceeds wins and losses in competition, the Play4Kay initiative is the Kay Yow Cancer Fund's largest fundraiser and plays a major role in its success.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of those impacted by breast cancer. The Captains will be donning their pink jerseys in support of the movement.
