NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Christopher Newport University continues a four-game home stretch on Wednesday night, as the 18th-ranked Captains entertain the Saints of Marymount University. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Freeman Center.

John Krikorian's squad is coming off a record-setting three-point effort on Sunday in CNU's 72-64 home win over Franklin & Marshall. The Captains made 11 of 18 from long range, establishing a new mark for three-point field goal percentage in a game (61.1 percent). The long ball barrage came in the Championship game of the Holiday Inn Invitational. Sophomore Toa Hollenbeck, named the MVP of the two-day tourney, knocked down six of eight threes in the game and finished with a new career high of 24 points.

Sophomore point guard Tyson Henderson was named to the All-Tournament team following a double-double in Sunday's title game. Henderson scored 14 points and also dished out 11 assists, the most assists in a game since Paul Meredith logged 11 in 2010.

Sunday's victory improved Christopher Newport's record to 7-2 on the season. Marymount enters Wednesday night's battle with a 5-2 mark, and the Saints have lost to two quality opponents in Johns Hopkins and Catholic to date. The game with MU will be the 30th in the all-time series, and the Captains have won the last four to open a 25-4 edge. The series began in 1987.

Wednesday night will be Greek Life Night at the Freeman Center. Tickets for the game will be available at the Freeman Center Ticket Office.
