Christopher Newport earned a statement victory last Wednesday, defeating #14 Washington & Lee on the road in four sets. The Captains' had several standout performances, including Alyssa Vitale and Megan James both recording double-doubles. Vitale finished with 32 assists and 19 digs, while James added 10 kills and 12 digs. Alyssa Dozier and Noelle Starr were named the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.
