NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - It's Family Weekend at Christopher Newport University, and Saturday's football game is officially sold out. The Captains, 1-2, host the Cardinals of Catholic University, 1-2, at Kelchner Field at TowneBank Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m.

All reserved and general admission seats have been spoken for, but a limited number of standing room only tickets will go on sale beginning at 12 noon Saturday outside TowneBank Stadium. The standing room tickets will cost five dollars.

Both teams Saturday will be looking to snap a two-game losing skid. The Captains and Cardinals both opened the season with a victory before falling the last two times out. Last week, the Captains fell at home to the Apprentice School, 38-35. Catholic dropped a 33-14 home game to Kean University last Saturday. This will be the second meeting of the schools, after CNU recorded a 31-14 victory last year in Washington, D.C.

Saturday's game with Catholic marks the third of four straight home games for the Captains. The game will be the final non-conference matchup of the season for Paul Crowley's squad. CNU will open play next Saturday in the New Jersey Athletic Conference, hosting Rowan in a 1:00 p.m. start.
