THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- Christopher Newport men's tennis dropped a 6-3 decision at Cal Lutheran University on Monday afternoon.
CNU won at No. 1 doubles where
Ryan Macy and
Alec Strause raced away with an 8-1 win. Strause also won in singles play to sweep his matches for the Captains. He won at No. 2 singles by a score of 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.
Rounding out the CNU team points in Monday's action was a straight set win for
Tyler Hyun at No. 6. Hyun won by a final score of 6-2, 6-4.
The Captains will take a couple of days off before returning to action on Thursday, March 3 at Whittier College. The match will start at 3:00 pm.
