The Captains are riding a four match winning streak dating back to CNU's last win over Salisbury. Following a five set win over the Sea Gulls, Christopher Newport won all three matches last week. Sweeps of Bridgewater and Marymount bookended a four set win at Virginia Wesleyan. For their efforts, Alyssa Dozier and Mackenzie Wright were named C2C players of the week. Wright, the offensive player of the week, hit .438 on the week turning in performances of .471 and .625. Dozier, the defensive player of the week, turned in eight blocks, including five solo blocks, in the win over Virginia Wesleyan and had at least one block in all three matches last week.
