NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Due to heavy rainfall expected in the Hampton Roads area, all of the Christopher Newport baseball games scheduled for this weekend have been cancelled. CNU was slated to face Susquehanna University and Roanoke College over the weekend. 

The Captains opened the year 5-0 and are coming off a win at home on Tuesday against Eastern Mennonite University. That is the lone game to be played in a six-game stretch dating back to last Sunday at Emory University and extending to this Sunday's matchup with Roanoke. 

Christopher Newport is scheduled to take on nationally-ranked Randolph-Macon College on Tuesday, February 26. Stay tuned to CNUsports.com for updates.
