CNU is 11-4 all-time at home in the NCAA's, 5-2 at the Freeman Center and 6-2 at Ratcliffe Gymnasium. The game with Lancaster Bible will be the first meeting ever of the schools. The Chargers are 23-5 and advanced by winning the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) title.
In the opener, Emory & Henry, Champions of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC), is 22-6 overall and will play a 20-6 Franklin & Marshall squad that received an at-large bid. Friday's winners will advance to the second round and play Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Freeman Center.
Tickets for the NCAA doubleheader will be available at the Freeman Center Friday. Tickets are $15.00 for reserved chairback, $10.00 for general admission, and $5.00 for seniors, children, and students.
