NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Head coach John Harvell has announced an adjustment to the weekend's schedule, as the Captains will no longer play a game on Friday, February 28 versus Montclair State. Christopher Newport (4-5) will now take on the Red Hawks (0-0) on Saturday, March 1, at 2:30 pm. 

Captains Park will also play host to a neutral site contest Saturday morning, as Montclair State will take on 10th-ranked SUNY Cortland (3-1) at 11:00 am. It will be the season opener for the Red Hawks, who will finish out the day with a doubleheader. 

On Sunday, the Captains will face the Red Dragons at Noon in their regularly scheduled contest.
