BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- The nationally-ranked CNU women's basketball team is scheduled to continue it's season-opening road trip on Wednesday, November 19, as they travel to Bridgewater College for the Eagles first game of the season. Tip is set for 7:00 pm at Nininger Hall as CNU plays its third straight game away from home to start the year.
The Captains are off to a 1-1 start after competing against a pair of Old Dominion Athletic Conference programs last weekend. CNU will round out the four-game road swing to start the year this Sunday at Newport News Apprentice.

Senior
Camry Green is averaging a double-double in the early going this season, pouring in 14.5 points and grabbing 17.0 rebounds per game. Rookie
Bailey Dufrene is second on the team, with 11.5 points per game, while junior
Jordan Miller is adding 11.0 points per contest. The Captains feature 13 freshmen and sophomores in the makeup of this season's squad, including newcomers Dufrene and
Makeda Wright.
Bridgewater is coming off a 9-17 season and looks to start their turnaround against the Captains. Junior Cassidy Burkholder is the high scorer returning, after averaging 12.7 points per game last season. After opening the season at home against CNU, the Eagles will play seven of their next eight away from home.
