NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- The Christopher Newport baseball game originally scheduled for Tuesday at Salisbury University has been moved to Wednesday, March 13 with first pitch set for 2:00 pm. Head coach John Harvell announced the schedule adjustment due to a threat of inclement weather in Maryland on Tuesday.

Both teams are nationally ranked heading into this week's big matchup, and were top ten teams last week. The Captains (16-4-1) will travel to Salisbury, Md. to take on the Sea Gulls, who are off to an 8-2 start this season.
