GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Due to wet conditions after heavy rainfall this weekend, the Christopher Newport baseball team will play just one game on Sunday, at 7:00 pm. The Captains will take on Greensboro College in USA South action tonight, and will return to action Monday at Noon for a doubleheader. 

CNU has opened the year 8-1-1 with a perfect 6-0 mark against league opponents. The Pride are 6-4 with a 2-4 mark in the USA South. 

The weekend series was originally scheduled for one game on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Inclement weather forced several schedule adjustments. Stay tuned to CNUsports.com for any further updates.
