LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Christopher Newport will wrap up its five-game road trip on Wednesday as the Captains (3-1-2) travel to Lynchburg College (1-4-1) for a 7:00 pm kickoff. CNU is unbeaten in its last four games and has outscored its opponents 10-2 in that stretch.

The Captains have been led by sophomore
Jalon Brown with three goals and two assists so far this season, while senior
Andrew Bonorden has added three scores and one helper. Junior
Sean Killion has played all but one game between the pipes for CNU, posting a 0.92 goals against average with 15 saves and two shutouts early this year.
Lynchburg has been strong defensively, holding opponents to a 1.25 GAA through the first six games, but managing just five goals scored as a team. Four different Hornets have put away scores so far this year, including one from Luke Moore who leads the team with 30 shots. Michael Releford has played every minute in goal this season, making 25 saves in six games.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm as CNU looks to close out the road trip before returning home this weekend for USA South action. The Captains will take on Maryville at 3:00 pm this Saturday, September 20.
