DANVILLE, Va. -- Playing in their third game in five days, the Christopher Newport University men's basketball team will take the court tonight at Averett University (6-11, 1-4) at 6:00 pm. The Captains (15-3, 6-0) will look to extend its longest winning streak since the 2002-03 season, now at 11 straight victories. Wednesday's game will feature the league's top two scorers in CNU senior
Conley Taylor (21.3 ppg) and Averett junior Justin Pierce (17.4 ppg).
The game will be broadcast live on Xtra 99.1 FM in the Hampton Roads area, via the CNU/Pepsi Radio Network. Video will also be available at CNUsports.com and live statistics begin at tip.
CNU owns a 66-17 advantage in the all-time series, including a 2-0 record under head coach
