NEWPORT NEWS, VA- The Captains of Christopher Newport haven't lost since September 17th, and look to continue their 7-game winning streak as the 2011 NCAA Division III Football Championship gets underway. CNU will travel to Union, New Jersey, to play Kean University on Saturday. Kickoff will be at 12 noon.

Matt Kelchner's Captains will be making their 8th NCAA appearance in 11 seasons of football action. CNU concluded the regular season with a 45-20 win last Saturday at home over Maryville, wrapping up a perfect USA South season at 7-0.

CNU and Kean will be playing for the first time ever. Kean is 9-1 and playing in the NCAA's for the first time. The Cougars are Champions of the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
