Box Score SALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury took an early lead in the fourth inning an went on to reverse Thursday's 14-1 loss to CNU with a 9-1 victory Friday.
The Seagulls, ranked No. 18 in the nation, used two of the eight errors the Captains made, along with two hits, to pick up the first four runs and eventually had six of their nine runs unearned.
CNU actually scored in the top of the first as
Shannon Mark led off with a single and moved to second on a wild pitch.
Parker Neal then drove in Mark with a single for the Captains' only run.
Mark and
Drue Vernon each went 2-5 as CNU collected just six hits after banging out 16 Thursday.
Tyler McElhenny took the loss, surrendering seven runs over seven innings, but only two were earned. He is now 2-3.
CNU, which is now 24-15, ends the regular season Saturday with a doubleheader at York (Pa.). Salisbury is 25-9.
