Box Score FERRUM, Va. - CNU got just four hits off Ferrum pitching and fell to the Panthers, 4-0, in a USA South baseball game Monday.

Ferrum scored twice in the first inning. After two were out the Panthers loaded the bases and Justin Franklin delivered a two-run single.

In the eighth, Sammy Holloway had a two-run single, with one of the runs being unearned.

Shannon Mark led the Captains, who are now 8-4 and 2-2 in the USA South, with two hits. Ferrum has an 8-2 record and is 1-1 in the conference.

The Captains play Albertus Magnus in a doubleheader Wednesday at Captains Park beginning at 1 p.m.
