Box Score   VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Wesleyan built an 8-1 lead and held off a CNU comeback attempt in a game played Thursday afternoon.
  The Captains scored four runs in the eighth inning. The big hit was a two-run single by Connor Madden who had three hits in the game.
  Madden had two RBIs and a double, while Mike Romett had three hits, including two doubles and two RBIs. Parker Neal also had two hits.
  The Captains host N.C. Wesleyan Saturday and Sunday in USA South action at Captains Park at 1 p.m.
