Men's and Women's Basketball Set For USA South Championships Saturday

NEWPORT NEWS, VA - Christopher Newport University hosts the 2010 USA South Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament this weekend at the Freeman Center.

Both teams have reached the championship round.

The undefeated CNU women's team, 27-0 and the top seed, will play second seeded Ferrum for the title at 2 p.m. The men wil take on No. 1 seeded N.C. Wesleyan at 4:30. CNU is the only conference team to have bean the Bishops this year.

It is the fifth straight year Christopher Newport has hosted the semi-final and championship games at the Freeman Center.
