NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The CNU volleyball team coasted to a 3-0 victory over Meredith then defeated Peace 3-0 later in the afternoon.
  
   CNU jumped in front by taking the first two sets, 25-12 and 25-12, and finished the match with a 25-22 victory in set three.
  
   Bailey Jensen paced the Captains with 11 kills, while Cory Harris added nine and Caitlyn Jansen eight. Mary Horner contrbuted 11 digs, Jessie Heavenrich had 19 assists and Jensen blocked five attempts.
  
   In the second match the Captains won again three sets to none with scores of 25-13, 25-15 and 25-15. 

In the second match the Captains were led in kills by Caitlyn Jansen and Cory Harris with 8 each.   

   With the wins the Captains imrpove to 28-6 and will resume play next weekend when they travel to play Averett and Ferrum.
