Ashley Rock begins her second season as a member of the Christopher Newport volleyball coaching staff following a four-year run as a middle blocker for the Captains.

A leader on and off the court, Rock served as a team captain during each of her final three campaigns. A force on the defensive end, she ranked among the conference leaders in blocks as a junior and senior, including 100 rejections in 2015. Appearing in 88 career matches, she finished her tenure with 210 blocks and 316 kills.

Honored as the 2015-16 CNU Female Student-Athlete Leader of the Year, Rock graduated in the spring with a degree in sociology.
