Athletics Academic Support supports our student-athletes' wide range of tutoring needs. We generally hire graduate students to work with our program.  Exceptions to this rule may occur when an instructor recommends a qualified undergraduate student or no graduate students can be found for the position. All tutors are required to have a 3.0 GPA in their undergraduate studies.

We ask that our tutors have good availability and work depending on our needs. Graduate students can earn up to $12 per hour and undergraduate students can earn up to $10 per hour.  Tutorial sessions are held on the request the student athlete, as well as the Director of Academic Support.

All qualified and interested prospects should complete the on-line application and e-mail it to Jenny Nuttycombe.  All tutors hired are required to attend a tutorial training session prior to working with any student-athlete.

If you have any questions or would like additional information about the Academic Support Program, please contact Jenny Nuttycombe or stop by her office located in Ratcliffe 232.
