High School Winter Frolic Wraps Up First Day of Action on Friday at the Freeman Center

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Following an exciting day of track & field action, the High School Winter Frolic wrapped up the first day of competition at Christopher Newport's Freeman Center on Friday evening.

The two-day meet, which features over 1000 of the top athletes from around the region, saw champions crowned in 13 events on Friday. Grassfield's Grant Holloway headlined the action after breaking the Freeman Center record in the 55-hurdles with a time of 7.32.
