BLOG: Off the Field With CNU Senior Stephanie Green

CNUsports.com has asked senior women's lacrosse player Stephanie Green to give fans a look at life as a Division III student-athlete. Balancing school work, practice and much, much more, Green provides an inside look in her weekly blog.

"From the Beginning"

It's hard to imagine that I've already completed three entire years here at CNU and man, have these years flown by! In a few weeks, I have my second medical school interview and the first half of my senior year will be over. Luckily, I have been given this amazing opportunity to write a student-athlete blog for my senior year.

My name is Stephanie Mae Green. I am currently enrolled as a senior here at CNU, majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Leadership and Chemistry. I am a defender on the Varsity Women's Lacrosse Team (#2). Additionally, I am a member of the President's Leadership Program, Honors Program and Pre-Med Scholars Program. Moreover, I am currently employed here as an academic tutor and peer mentor. Finally, I have been blessed to be inducted into Beta Beta Beta, Omicron Delta Kappa and Alpha Chi during my time here at CNU.

While I do not wish to state my entire resume and share the numerous achievements that I have worked so hard to obtain, I do wish to get across the idea that I am highly involved here on campus, aside from just athletics. This blog will be a way for me to share some of the thoughts and experiences that I have had throughout my time here at CNU, and the challenges that I have faced as a student-athlete.

I hope that you find my writing informative, entertaining and warm (even though I hate writing - I am a science major - HAHA). I also hope that you are able to relate to some of the experiences. I am looking forward to sharing!

Until next time,
Steph
