NEWPORT NEWS, VA- Christopher Newport University Director of Athletics C.J. Woollum and Women's Soccer Coach Ruth Keegan today announced the release of the school's 2010 schedule. The Captains are coming off a 12-8-3 season in 2009 and a trip to the NCAA Tournament as Champions of the USA South.

CNU will open the season on Saturday, August 28th, with a home game against Mary Washington.

The Captains will play in two early-season tournaments. CNU will take on Messiah and Montclair State in the Virginia Wesleyan Tournament on September 3rd and 4th. The Captains Classic will be held at CNU on September 11th and 12th when CNU will play Cal Lutheran and Frostburg State.

Christopher Newport will open USA South play on September 25th when the Captains host Averett.
