MEBANE, N.C. - The CNU golf team placed third at the annual USA South tournament held at the Mill Creek Golf Course.
  The Captains shot a 302-316-304--922 to place fourth behind champion Methodist by 58 shots. Greensboro was second at 906 and Averett third with a 907.
  CNU's Joseph Evans took sixth place individually at 74-77-71--222.Brian Jaeger was tied for eighth at 75-78-74--227 and Ben Culotta placed 19th with an 80-79-78--237.
