MEBANE, NC – Christopher Newport's golf team, fresh off a 311 on day one, finished day two with a 300 and stands in third place with a combined 611.
Methodist leads the event with a two-day score of 577. Greensboro is second with a 609 and the Captains are just two shots back.
Joseph Evans is tied for third with back-to-back 74's for a two-day score of 148. Kyle Shaffner is 10th with rounds of 77-75 for a total of 152. Joseph Suarez is 14th with a two-day score of 156 (78-78), Chris Olson is tied for 15th, with rounds of 82 and 75 for a combined score of 157 and Matt Wagner is 19th with a total of 159 (83-76).
