FAYETTEVILLE, NC – Christopher Newport’s women’s tennis player Kayla Connor was named Second Team All-USA South.
Connor is 6-8 on the year in singles action. She’s 4-6 at No. 1 and 2-2 at No. 2. In doubles, she’s a combined 5-9, 5-6 at No. 1.
Methodist’s Kaitlin Flaherty was named the conference’s Player of the Year. Brooke Baird from Meredith was named the Rookie of the Year while the Monarchs Francie Barragan was named Coach of the Year.
