Two CNU Student-Athletes Honored By The USA South

FAYETTEVILLE, NC – Two Christopher Newport student-athletes were honored for their achievements by the USA South this week.
Chris Despins was named the USA South Baseball Player of the Week. The junior from Oak Hill, VA went 9-for-18 with six RBI, four runs, three home runs, two walks, one double and one triple, helping the Captains to a 3-1 week.
Taylor Morgan was named the USA South Softball Player of the Week for a second time. The junior and Chesterfield, VA native finished the week 10-for-14 (.714) with three RBI, one run, and two doubles, helping CNU to a 2-2 week.
