COLUMBUS, OH – Christopher Newport’s sailing squad placed second at the Buckeye Intersectional hosted by Ohio St. University on April 19-20.
There were 17 schools in attendance. Northwestern won the event with the Captains placing second.
CNU’s second place finish gave them victories over Providence, Michigan St., John Carroll, Florida, Owen’s, Ohio St. Men, Ohio University, Miami (OH), Ohio St. women, Wittenburg, Michigan, Washington (MO), Denison, Bowling Green and Kenyon.
Team members were Matt Lythgoe, Taylor Gray, Lynn Ball and Amy Polhemus.
